AmbiSaw helps woodworkers decide how many pieces of sheet material they need to use for a job and the most efficient way to cut those sheets. AmbiSaw is a cut optimiser/optimizer.
Simply tap in your cutting list parts (your cutlist)- length, width and quantity - and AmbiSaw will draw your cutting list onto sheet material.
You can drag the parts to the approximate position you want them to be on the sheet material - great for grain matching.
Press the Cut Check button and AmbiSaw will position the parts exactly, factoring in the saw blade kerf width.
AmbiSaw works for both grained (e.g. veneered boards, plywood, melamine faced chipboard with grain pattern) and ungrained materials (e.g. MDF and plain coloured boards).
AmbiSaw can also position all the parts of your cutting list automatically, giving full cutting optimisation. And if you want to change the result just drag the relevant parts and AmbiSaw will re-run the optimisation following your lead.
AmbiSaw ensures the parts are positioned such that the sheet can be cut into parts with edge to edge cuts only - it will not ask you to make stopped cuts.
Like the displays on top of the range panel saws, AmbiSaw displays cut by cut instructions for the optimised cutting pattern.
AmbiSaw works in both inches and millimetres modes.
AmbiSaw is the perfect companion to any saw, whether that be the table saw, handheld circular saw and guide rail combo, even a handsaw if you so wish.
Used in the workshop, AmbiSaw will earn its keep the first time you use it through minimising sheet material usage and eliminating cutting errors.
AmbiSaw - it’s like having SatNav for your saw!
